Central Greenough Historical Settlement Geraldton » What to Do » Central Greenough Historical Settlement
Walking among the historical buildings at the Greenough settlement, formerly known as the Greenough Hamlet, is like stepping back in time. The character stone buildings are remnants of a once thriving community of pioneers who developed the area at the turn of the 19th century.
The settlement is surrounded by farming land and includes a stylish new cafe/restaurant and tourist information. The settlement itself comprises 11 restored historical buildings, of which nine are accessible to visitors. |
